Are giving, giving, and helping terms all the same?

While we are in a family session, one of the relatives said that he helped someone in performing a task, and after explaining the nature of the task that he helped with, another person of my relatives answered him that you had made an effort and gave him more than just help.

This made me think is there a difference between these terms, as in our beautiful Arabic language there are many different terms for one meaning.

I find that these terms are varied and different, but they all come close to the same intention, which is to make things easier for others.

To help someone means that you want to make something easier for them.

To give to someone means that you are giving them something that makes something easier for them.

To give someone something means to make an effort to make something easier for them.

I really don't know if my view of these terms is correct. what do you think?

Do you find these terms the same? Or is it different? Are there examples in our daily life that help us differentiate them?
