Curation effort by IndiaUnited
One of the main objectives of the collective is to find and promote content creators, writers, artists, musicians, photographers, artisans etc.
We are starting the effort with inputs from @amarbir @manojm @rainsa @sayee
Draft of the rules are below. To be updated.
Criteria to be considered to be curated:
- Posts needs to have good grammar, be informative and entertaining and original. More than 75% of the content should be original in any case.
- Supporting photos and art MUST always be attributed with credits to original authors. Citing Google as source will not be acceptable.
- Original artworks gets high priority even if length and other criteria's are not met - say a painting, work of an upcoming photographer, work of an upcoming musician
- Original Photographs with informational content are most welcome - historical places, incidents, travelogues etc.
- Upheld's and show cases the cultural and historical aspects
- Portrays life style - but should NOT be just a random photo of someone working in a field.
- Exceptions of extra-ordinary works for new comers can be considered & request them to avoid plagiarism etc. ie, we should not be promoting them, but can give an upvote and politely ask them to use original content.
- Random photos of a travel doesn't qualify to be a travelogue. It should have a documentation of the socio-economical and geographical aspects of the area and similar content to supplement photographs.
- Portraits and other photographs should have EXIF and equipment information to make sure that its not plagiarized.

Here we begin
For the first day, we badly wanted to show an original art work, with no accompanying words or stories & has value. We were lucky to find the magical water colour painting from @prabalmallick
1st post selected for the day
Early Morning Adrenalin Rush by @prabalmallick
Our second find is "Get together in cave 😍" by @saimegh
This shows a unique story & has shown us the largest publicly accessible cave system in India which is Belum caves & It is located in Andhra pradesh.
The Belum Caves is the largest and longest cave system open to the public on the Indian subcontinent
Congrats @saimegh and @prabalmallick & keep up the good work!
lets also upvote and encourage ... @saimegh and @prabalmallick
@bobinson I totally agree. I voted for you for the "witness" and followed you today. Let's make a sprawling Steemit community in India. I am from Delhi. I am doing my bit on promoting Steemit on Quora and taking questions on steemit on Quora today.
Cheers to the collective effort!
