CURATOR'S CHOICE ||| an IINC series
For this second edition in our "Curator's Choice" series, I've selected some of - last weeks - greatest music related articles posted to the Steem blockchain. Some articles are very personal, some others are giving us great insight in instruments and artists. I'm particular pleased to feature an article of a Steemian reviewing the music of another Steemian.
Give them all a read and when you like the articles, you can always leave comments to the respective posts. I'm sure the authors don't mind a small vote as well, but that is entirely up to you! :)
Hanging Up Dad's Old Records with @storybird
How something from the distant past becomes new and cool wall decorations. @storybird tells the tail of how the old vinyl collection of dad is 'upgraded' to become art+. I particular like this article since it is different to most of the posts about music on Steemit and tells a nice personal story.

About Tommy McCook and Pachito e'che
This is an incredible extensive and well written article informing us about the life of Tommy McCook, a Jazz musician. The writer was inspired by another article on the Steem blockchain about Fat Boy Slim who apparently used some samples of Tommy McCook. Great to see Steemians being inspired by other Steemians and producing such quality articles like this one.

[Album Review: #012] Geowulf - Great Big Blue
We have many Steemians posting their music creations at Steemit. We likely have quite a few Steemians listening to all this music. We only have a very few reviewing such music and take the time to write about it to support not only the artist/track(s) being reviewed, but also to contribute to the Steem music community in a different way. This article is a great example.

What are the main factors in determining the sound of a guitar?
This article is a short one, but that doesn't mean it has little value! For anybody building guitars, or just interested why a guitar sounds like it sounds, @stillgideon visualises all the factors involved. At first I was a little surprised the age of the guitar makes a different, but thinking about it a little more, it actually makes much sense, since - amongst others - material characteristics may change over time.
