Archdruid Gaming: Author Showcase Issue 7

in #curation6 years ago

Our community has been buzzing along into another great week. We had quite a lot of different posts and genres make there rounds this week on discord. Everything from what new games are expected to be amazing coming up in August; along with, some great updates being rolled out in different games. Some game developers appear to be holding back nothing in reserve to gain market share. While others we think are off their game these days.

@Techmojo provides a nice balance of written and video content. For those looking for someone who does not skimp on how long the live streams are or the amount of detail and effort that go into a written blog, this author is for you. He carries a wide range of gaming content as well from game reviews to tech-related insight.

In his longest running series Gaming Top 5 he goes over upcoming games he is really existed for. He includes a brief break down of the different games. Some of his own opinion on what he thinks about the game. As well as some basic information like release dates and platforms the games will be launching on. A great way for a gamer to quickly become informed about some amazing upcoming releases in the industry.

@Deadspace always willing to pack some punchlines in his gaming reviews. He is never afraid to hold back and just really give it to a game as well when it’s deserved. He often nails perfectly the demographic he is writing towards so you often find yourself thinking “I can relate” as you go deeper down the page.

As gamers, we all have those beloved series we grew up like Elder Scrolls. Such a game, after all, is like a household name for many gamers. Many times we are willing to take the plunge down the toilet if need be just to make sure we are not missing out on anything. As such he takes us on his journey to his first MMO ever with The Elder Scrolls Online. I promise his humor is much better than mine. You just might find yourself thinking like I did “why was it made into an MMO?”

Author 3

ggt.png

@Ggt known for his amazing skills and higher level gameplay in League of Legends. Does, in fact, play other games from time to time as well. That is when he is not crushing his opponents into a slurry of pixel dust as an attack damage carry. As such it is nice to know what else he plays on his other days of the week.

The gaming community has been buzzing as of recent about No Man's Sky: Next and all the changes that have been introduced from the update dubbed-- Next. That game used to be talked about in only a malice tone and gamers with their fist into the air shouting “No Man’s Lie!!!! After reading his first impressions I at least view the game somewhat differently now. Why I might put down my own pitchfork and get lost in that universe. That is always a sign of a great review crushing it.

@Marvel1206 has several written walkthroughs of gameplay going down on his blog at this time. They are like reading a mini-novel a little piece at a time. They are filled with cliffhangers, adventure, and loss! You just never know how long his series could be going on for or when it hits an abrupt end. Will he make it to the end of those games or will past sacrifices cost him victory?

In one of them Call of Duty Strike Team the reader is taken into part 6. If this is your first one reading one of his you might want scroll down to the bottom and click on episode 1 first to get caught up. We get to find out some of the heroic struggles that went down as this adventure takes the reader on an aerial view laying down support fire. Do Marshall and Reed make It out alive in this one? You will have to read to find out.

Author 5

otemzi.png

@Otemzi who is an expert at the game Paladins like to keep his readers updated on the latest champions being rolled out. Along with other changes that occur within first-person shooters or battle royals. You will see he goes into detail with his own thoughts and expertise.

In his review of Paladins champion named Koga, you get a nice overview everything the new champion has to bring to the table. Including what is consider overpowered to places that seem to need enchantment and are bit lackluster. Where this champion fits in the overall Meta for the game and things to watch out for. Overall a great stop for anyone who plays this game to get a quick overview and some ideas before trying it out in game.

I would do the truffle shuffle but I fear that would scare you away forever.
