Dragon submarine lucky place - Lama Temple
Beijing is a famous historic city. There are many famous places of interest. Today I want to share The Lama Temple in the northeast corner of Beijing with you . The Lama Temple was originally the residence of emperor Kangxi, the fourth son of emperor Yong Zheng. It is called Yongqin Wang Fu. In three years, Yong Zheng changed the palace to the Lama Temple.
After the emperor Qinlong was born in the Lama Temple, it became the "dragon submarine lucky place" because the two emperors lived here . The temple was decorated for yellow roof and Red wall, like the forbidden city . 9 years of Qian Long, it changed into the Lama Temple. Now the Lama Temple is the largest and best preserved Lama Huang temple in Beijing area. There are a lot of Buddha of precious cultural relics, worth visiting.
In the courtyard of Lama Temple, more than ten old locust trees can be seen. The courtyard was deep and Chinese scholar tree reached sky . Flowers in bloom, breeze, this ancient emit bursts of aroma in the air, intoxicated people. When I came in the late autumn, the leaves had not fallen completely.
Ancient and famous trees together with the ancient buildings is the feature of the Yonghe palace. Qian Long forty-eight years (1783), in the process of building the Imperial Academy , 51 strains of Huai Bai prepared cutting, Emperor Qian Long knew this, immediately ordered: "where can transplanting trees are not allowed to cut down. The nearest to the door, the transplantation of the Lama Temple, the rest can not be transplanted to the trees, to Biyong engineering." Lama Temple is coming from the Imperial College Guhuai transplantation at this time.
It’s easy to get the famous garden, but not easy to get the old trees. Those ancient trees silhouetted against red wall and yellow roof, more hondar ,thick, and harmonious.
These places of interests are becoming more and more valuable , because they are the footprints of history.
