Cryptos blasting into deep space?
Steem up 46% in 24 hours!
A remarkable day for the market to have a big break through.

Bitcoin {BTC}, Litecoin {LTC}, Vertcoin {VTC} and Digibyte {DGB}, the Lightning Network {LN} Segwitteers, are moving back up. Dogecoin {DOGE} made a jump for joy. EOS is doing well, while Bitshares {BTS} has gained close to 33% in one day. And Steem Backed Dollars {SBD} added close to 34 percent last 24 hours. Steem twin Golos is doing fine too, close to a 30% rise. It is amazing to watch these green numbers again, all of a sudden. Without a clue about what just happened though.
The amount of blockchain transactions did show a rise for the most active Cryptos. In combination with the green candles does give the impression there is some big breakthrough going on. The best performing blockchains out there are still undervalued quite a lot though. Even though it is clear that the DPOS {Delegated Proof Of Stake} types are BOSS, it could still take a while before they break out. Nothing can beat the 3-2-1-DONE blockchains like Bitshares, Steem and Golos. (Maybe EOS, but that is still future music.) Steem is the number one when it comes to most transactions in a day. It has the All Time High {ATH} of an amazing 2'068'341 transactions in one day! And with the current 1'808'604 transactions in 24 hours it breaks no sweat at all. Just 0.15% of its capacity is being used!
Bitshares and Steem are more scarse than many other Cryptos out there. Taking into account the smallest part, as defined by the amount of decimals. Steem has 6, Bitshares has got 5, while Bitcoin, and its many different kind of forks, have 8. This means 1 BTC contains of one hundred million Satoshi. With 21 million Bitcoin ever to be created, this gives a 2'1 quadrillion Satoshi. One Steem would be build up with a 1'000'000 milmils. With about 500 million Steem ever to be created this will be only 500 trillion milmil Steem. This means Steem is more scarse than Bitcoin. Calculated that way for Bitshares it is about 3 million BTS compared to the 21 BTC. And Steem is a little less scarse than BTS, it is like 5 million Steem compared to 21 million Bitcoin.
Part of the Steem is used as a reserve for the creation of the Steem Backed Dollar {SBD}. Also a lot of Steem is locked in Steem Power. With the an inflation that wend down to less than 10% a year, it seems that Steem is one tough Crypto. And it is hard to imagine that Steem would not go up drasticly in price. Especially when considered that the value is also added to Steem by the productivity of its own community. Leaving aside the discussion what kind of content is actually creating a valuable Fruit Of Work {FOW} kind that is allowed to be plucked, Steem is a Social Media blockchain that builds its own intrensic value by being used. With the Freedom Of Expression added as a great bonus, it is the one that should be up in the market cap list way higher than it is right now. (Past EOS, yes...)
But, before you might start to invest in any of the mentioned Cryptos. Remember to only invest in Cryptos what you are willing and able to use.

Having driven all day and arriving late in Sweden yesterday I didn't hear nor see what has happened. So a nice surprise seeing this big ups this morning.
Without wanting to be the voice of doom, I hope it's not in vain. (most time slow and steady up is better) Hope for the best. Latex!
It was quite a surprise indeed and I do my best to temper my optimism. And I do agree that slow and steady is probably better, seen from a realistic point of view. It is nice though to have this pattern for a change. Thumbs up that it will continue this way.

Hoe zit dat eigenlijk:
de allerkleinste verhandelbare eenheid steem; is dat 1/1000 steem?
dat zou betekenen dat het niet waarschijnlijk lijkt dat 1 steem ooit meer dan 10€ waard kan worden, het zou namelijk niet handig zijn als de kleinste verhandelbare eenheid bijvoorbeeld 5€ is, waardoor je alleen in veelvouden van 5€ equivalenten zou kunnen handelen.
Dus altijd 2 koppen koffie ook al ben je in je eentje...
Dingen goedkoper dan 5€ zou je dan niet met steem kunnen betalen, of je moet van flinke fooien houden natuurlijk..
Als 1 steem = 10€ dan is 1 milli dus 1 eurocent....
Dus vanuit die optiek bezien heeft iets als bitcoin meer groeipotentieel, omdat de verdeling fijnmaziger is.
Of kan er uiteindelijk een fijnere verdeling van steem worden gerealiseerd, net als met bitcoin, de satoshi?
Volgensmij heeft Steem meer dan 3 cijfers achter de komma, maar laten ze dit nu gemakshalve niet zien. Neem maar eens een kijkje in de interne Steem/SBD market!
Yep, je hebt gelijk, voor zover ik kon nagaan is het een miljoenste deel het kleinst.
dus dan is 10000€ toch de max voor 1 steem uitgaande van dingen kopen in euro zonder de centen af te ronden.
Als de 1 cent euro niet meer gebruikt wordt kan steem dus 20000 waard worden max...
Maar daar doe ik het voor: mij plm 3000 steem is dan tussen de 30 en 60 miljoen waard...
eventueel ben ik "in het algemeen belang" dan ook wel bereid tot afronden op 0,05€,
in het ergste geval wil ik dan ook wel 0,10 als afronding aanhouden, maar dan geef ik geen fooi meer haha!

ik zie in de rewards wel heel veel cijfers achter de komma waar het vests betreft...
In de eSteem app zie ik VESTS ook met 6 cijfers achter de komma. Net als Steem en SBD bij de interne markt:

Dus ik ga er voorlopig van uit dat Steem als kleinste deel een miljoenste heeft.
In werkelijkheid is het zes nullen achter de komma, als ik uitga van de interne markt. (Zoals @skytrex terecht opmerkte.) Verhoudingsgewijs is Steem dan nog duizendvoudig fijnmaziger. Dus niet 1/1000ste, maar 1/1000000ste is het kleine deel. Omgerekend zou dat dan 5 miljoen voor Steem tegen 21 voor Bitcoin zijn.
Dus Steem mag gerust 2000 euro waard worden. Met 6 nullen achter de komma mag het nog wel iets hoger zelfs.

It is indeed a great day to take a look at the portfolio. Could be complete cryptmarket be driven by some force of nature? Spring pops in and the market turns green. Just like it seemed to take a long time for nature to recover from a rather cold winter, the cryptomarket is silently putting the bears to their summer sleep :)

That might be the case, every tree overhere just all went green, it might have rubbed off on the Cryptos. They are in bloom! Indeed, may it continue in the upwards trend.
