CryptoPub Daily - Early Christmas green gift?
Good morning (or afternoon if you are tuning in later or in a different part of the world?) CryptoPubbers! The season has been nuts and I have missed a couple days but I can assure you I will be here to see you through the bear market, celebrate the next bull run, and will be pouring you drinks no matter what state the crypto market is in!
Trade volume is still rather low but Bitcoin is up over 5% from this point yesterday to right around $3,500. EOS is continuing to swing higher and lower than most and is up over 11% on the day currently and ETH is slower than the others as usual. In the Poodle Race, we have Lumens up 8% on the day in the lead while FUN is in last place up less than 2%.

With the Daily chart showing a bit of a reversal, I am looking at the 12-hour Bitcoin chart to see where we are shorter term. A nice buy spurt has helped Bitcoin price get through the month-old resistance and jump up through the median bolinger line. On the STOCH support index, it is neat to see buy support not quite reaching 0 in the last couple weeks and we have room to grow before topping out in overbought. If this is indeed a cup and handle pattern signalling some return to normal for BTC, we could be headed up to $4,500. Being a little more cautious, I have set a small limit sell to cash out a bit of profit just under $3,700 which is where the old 13-month support line was, and the top Bollinger line is.

I bought back in at $23 and plan to take half profit near $30 and let the rest ride and adjust as the story develops.
I honestly can believe that I did not listen to Charlie. What a good guy I’m glad I have some losses from the high...

I would say JUST over $36 in the next couple of days as that is the last high and is where the daily upper Bollinger line is. Longer term, I would say it is worth keeping some more as it is a pretty good OTC candidate (fast and cheap and well-known) and has REALLY underperformed this year. Maybe a nice boost around the year anniversary of Charlie Lee screwing us all? ;)
It is tough making calls in this time of BTC indecision though as it has a habit of destroying my technical analysis on alt coins!
Topped out yesterday around 31$ so you took some good profit. May want to set your rebuy just under 28 if you think the cup and handle will lead to a launch of sorts.
