Well looky looky! Another nice green day as BTC pushes up through resistances and psychological barriers and inspires alt coins. Bitcoin Gold apparently is tired of being the crypto joke and is making great progress this week which is good for GPU miners. ETH continues the trend this week of outpacing BTC and it seems that with gains there, in Monero, and a few other coins, the ratios to BTC will stabilize out in preparation for a bull run after a potential dip.

If we take a look at the 3-hour Bitcoin chart (and avoid the 6, 12, daily ones which have been prompting me to prematurely call a correction for a WEEK!) we can see what happened in the last couple days. The Bollinger Bands squeezed in from a bit of consolidation around 9k and broke out upward with a strong cross on the MACD, boom in trade volume and a break of the 30-day resistance. That resistance has become short term support but the bear in me is seeing the Overbought/Over-valued in the STOCH on the bottom but we haven't corrected yet!

Now that everything is unlocked from the steps of BTC, let's take a look at ETH on the 12-hour chart (medium term view.) We started April in full on Bear mode with the MACD under -40, bouncing off new local support and staying under the Bollinger median line. Since then, the Stochastic Relative support index shot up to Overvalued (and stayed there) and price, the MACD, and the upward channel have cruised right up into strong bull. In the last day, it even pumped more to rise above the 20-day channel which looked good enough as it was. Those who bought ETH at $375 have almost doubled their money in 3 weeks. GO ETH GO!
