What is Avocado Token 🥑 (AVO)?
One day I checked one of my ETH addresses and discovered that I had 100 million AVO tokens! WOO HOO! WHAT? YAY! NOW THAT'S EXCITING! What the heck is AVO??? I went on researching and found this:
History of the Avocado token
"On March 1st, 2018, 9000 CryptoKitties players were chosen at random to receive an airdrop of 100 million AVO tokens each. The reasoning for this was because CK players were recognized as creative, innovative, and positive users of crypto. This action has been dubbed the world's first reverse-ICO, bringing people together for the purpose of community and collaboration.
Around the time of March 18th the original creator of AVO token, once a member of this Telegram, suddenly disappeared and took all projects and social media platforms related to AVO with them. They also burned their own supply of the tokens, reducing the number from 100 trillion to 900 billion that are now in circulation.
The community assembled here thus far had to ask: what do we do with our AVO? It would seem that the creator of this token, whoever they are, has left it up to us to decide.

Haha, it could be @melip! You never know where the hype is going to take AVO. I may pick up a bit more from Etherdelta, while it is still very cheap.
Such airdrops are pretty common on the Waves platform. Some of them are even worth real money. I'm sure Avocado wasn't "the first reverse ICO". Might be an honest mistake, it's hard to keep track of everything that's going on in crypto.
Thanks for your comment @edb. I was once staking Waves and received 1 million tokens from Crypto-Bar.ru and many others. The AVO token is unique because it was fully distributed only to CryptoKitties users. It is already trading on Etherdelta and Forkdelta for ETH. I am going to hold on to mine for the time being. Definitely hard to keep up with everything in crypto. :)
