This is funny and interesting, I actually face the same issue. It was easier to say i am a quality control officer when i was working in a biscuit factory but now, when people ask where do you work? or what do you do?, I pause then smile and reply I work from home. I use my phone and my laptop. You need to see the looks i get from people when I say that lool....then I quickly add that i write and edit then i get paid for doing that.
