Vechain: From 1 VEN to 100 VET; 6 advantages for investors!

Today Vechain had a presentation at the Crypto Consensus and they also released their whitepaper. Some changes are coming up. One of their most important messages is an upcoming coin split.
Due to the increasing demand from investors for the Vechain tokens, the company decided to execute a protocol that will end up in a rebrand and coin split. Approx the end of June 1 VEN token will be replaced by 100 VET tokens.
If your looking at the value per token VET will probably end up being worth the rate of 1 VEN divided by 100. So for example, if the value of 1 VEN token equals $4 during the split, 1 VET token will probably hold the value of $0.04.
The rebranding and coin split will not directly affect the total value of the tokens your holding.
My Opinion from investors perspective;
Short-term advantages:
1 Demand will increase due to the low rate per token
2 Interesting project for investors with a small budget and lower boundaries to enter for new investors
3 The smallest incremental change in dollar value($0.01) makes a bigger difference in percentage. This provides the opportunity of great short-term returns on your investment due to the increasing demand. For example 1 VET goes from $0.04 to $0.05 (+25%). When VEN goes up from $5.00 to $5.01 its just 0.2%.
Long-term positives:
4 A sustainable project with the ability to support increasing demands
5 Easy calculations, less vulnerable for human errors (For example 112 VET is way easier than 1.12 VEN).
6 After longterm growth, it will still be possible for the bigger crowd to buy full tokens instead of parts (For example a lot of investors don`t have the funds to buy a full BTC so they buy pieces like 0.02 BTC).

STOPI think the hype about the split is BS since we have done just fine with the price of VEN so far. I am excited for the rebrand and will start buying again. I sold everything when they missed deadline after deadline earlier in the year.
Thanks for sharing your opinion. I totally agree that reaching deadlines is very important to gain trust. I am happy to hear that you found enough reason to get back on the train again. I am very excited for the rebranding as well. I hope that the innovative platform they are developing gets adopted by more and more well-known brands since it has so many interesting use cases.
