Is this correct? can we really just get a creditcard for our bitcoins?
I am new to this consept. Hope anyone can explain to me how this actually works.

I don't know about a credit card, but there are shift and bitpay cards. They are debit cards in which a wallet is attached. You can load the card with usd from btc and spend it anywhere visa and master cards are accepted. You can withdraw cash from an ATM as well.
