KuCoin real or scam...🔔
I received this message on one of the Telegram channels.
"So one more time, do not worry.
Here is few info about that exchange:
Kucoin is a new Hong Kong based exchange. Originally launched as Kubi.com in China, the company moved their operations to Hong Kong, after regulators forced all Chinese-based exchanges to shut down. Kucoin has since shifted their attention to serve the international market.
So I do not see any reason for panic!"
Another channel posted this:
"KuCoin is not from Hong Kong but from China and also that China will ban exchange. If that happens, China will ban exchange, China won't ban our money. If they ban exchange, we will have 15-20 days to move out our money from exchange. If you are new here, few months ago, I think in August 2017 china banned BTCC Chinese exchange."
Not sure what to believe. I advice, whatever you do, do thorough research and then invest.
If anyone of you know more details, please update the community.
As always with crypto you are taking a risk. From what I have seen and read China has talked about these bans before and the price has fallen dramatically. Then it seems to keep going full steam ahead. I would not put it past them to release FUD as to drive the market down based on fear. When you are talking about billions of dollars people will go to insane lengths to manipulate as much as they can to benefit themselves. With crypto I am constantly asking myself what would a whale do in this situation. For instance the run up today could just be a whale/ bull trap to dump again. You never really know. My best advice is to not put in more than you are willing to lose. HODL on my fellow steemers! Cheers
