🗞 After the Fork: How Competing Bitcoin Cash Blockchains Might Wage War

Bitcoin cash’s ongoing war of words is set to reach a conclusion today.

That’s when a planned technical update (and an ongoing disagreement over the proposed code changes) may lead two major bitcoin cash implementations – Bitcoin ABC and Bitcoin SV – to split into separate blockchains.

In the days prior to the activation, rising contention from both camps has culminated in what has been termed as “hash war,” as mining pools ramp up their computing power to show support for the various implementations.

🗞 Bitmain Restructures, But Jihan Wu Will Stay On The Board

Over the past few days, rumors circulated that amidst a shuffle of the Bitmain Technologies Ltd board of directors, Jihan Wu, co-founder of Bitmain's massive mining empire, had been removed from Bitmain's senior management structure.

Nishant Sharma, Bitmain's international marketing manager, has reportedly spoken out to confirm that Wu will continue with Bitmain as a co-director, but that restructuring has indeed occurred. Sharma said: "As is standard listing practice, Bitmain is restructuring its board and group structure, to ensure it meets regulatory requirements on its road to IPO."

🗞 Bitfinex Introduces New Fees, Bitmex Rejects Claims It Trades Against Its Customers

In recent cryptocurrency exchange news, Bitfinex has introduced new withdrawal fees, the CEO of Bitmex has refuted accusations that the exchange’s in-house trading desk trades against its customers, and Malta-based Bistraq Exchange has commenced operations.

Bitfinex has introduced new fees on external wire requests that appear to be designed to reduce the frequency and size of fiat withdrawals. As of this week, the exchange will start charging 3 percent when its customers make more than two fiat withdrawals within a 30-day period. It will also charge a 3 percent fee when customers request “more than $1 million in aggregate in fiat withdrawals in any 30-day period.”

🗞 Malaysian Lending Giant CIMB Joins Ripple’s Cross-Border Payment Network

Malaysian lending giant CIMB Group Holdings Bhd has joined Ripple’s (XRP) cross-border payments network RippleNet, Bloomberg reports Nov. 15.

The $53.5 billion market cap CIMB will integrate Ripple’s XCurrent product, a software solution for expediting cross-border payments, for its “SpeedSend” remittance product. As Bloomberg reports, CIMB’s product serves multiple Southeast Asian markets, including the Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand.

Sometimes it is not funny to see where the market is gooing. Even I had the time to be prepared a little bit and take some positions in prevision of that event, I'm not happy for the STEEM and the cryptoworld. Yeah we broke major support on the STEEM and we are now going to make new lows again. We are just at the beginning of a new correction phase so have courage all.
