My Second SmartRewards - SMART(SMART Cash)
Hello everyone, just wanted to share an update on one of the cryptocurrencies that I have been invested on. This cryptocurrency is called SMART. SMART has a feature called SmartRewards which basically gives you rewards by holding/staking coins in a wallet address for 30 days.
What is Smart rewards?
SmartRewards are a price stabilization mechanism and a way to encourage long term holding. Long term holders are key to the project’s success since the SmartHive treasury needs SmartCash to appreciate in value in order to fund meaningful 3rd party proposals and help grow SmartCash into a successful global crypto-currency. **Each wallet address holding at least 1000 SmartCash will get paid each 30 days on the 25th and the snapshot for the next month will happen at the same time. **The SmartRewards will come out of the 15% block reward allocation.
So basically you have to have 1000 SmartCash on a wallet address which will get paid after 30 days on 25th of the month. The SmartRewards will be from the 15% block rewards.
Basic Things to remember on SmartRewards
- Minimum 1000 SmartCash on a wallet address
- Initial 30 Day Hold
- Every 25th of the month is the payout
Basing on experience
I was skeptical at first with the SMART investment, I decided to invest just $40 initially to test this SmartRewards. Last August 16 I decided to buy $40 worth of SMART in Cryptopia which is 2458 SMART to be exact. I then downloaded the wallet and stored it there. I ran into some problems with the wallet and went to SmartCash's Slack channel. The community is awesome and they will answer your every question, and help you with anyway they can.
So then I thought I was gonna get my first SmartRewards on the 25th but it does not work that way because the snapshot occurred last July 25th my wallet address was not in existence yet. So to put it I will be receiving my first SmartRewards on September 25th. My first SmartReward generated 945 SMART.
Now today I received my SmartReward after syching my wallet my second SmartRewards generated 850 SMART this time around. At first I wondered about why I got less this time even though I gained 945 SMART last time. I just checked that when the snapshot occured on September 25th my SMART did not yet got counted as the Payment was released after the Snapshot so the basis of the snapshot is once again 2458 SMART.
Here are the screenshot of my recent transactions
945 SmartRewards on the first month, and 850 SmartRewards this month next month I think I will get at least 1000+ SMART hopefully. Let us then compute my earnings based on $40 Investment last August.
As you can see my $40 investment last August is now $457.99 at the moment with a profit of $416.82. My only regret is I should have bought more last August. Imagine $100 back then could have been $1000 right now.
