I’m speechless. I was just casually checking the crypto market caps and noticed NIMIQ being the THIRD LARGEST crypto currency?? It has gone up 132,000 %. Surely this is not legit? Is it? What am I missing here (I’m a newbie).
i've seen it also now its on the 500 spot but the market cap is really monstrous, so massive, never seen like that before.. its on the third spot a while ago..
yup, some just want to be recognize, but this kind of event should be minimize, twice it happen, meaning someone is trying to manipulate the market while bitcoin is on its way to SEGWIT. better that they regulate the appearabce of this BUGOS coins..

if none of these are not meet, then the coin should perish in to thin air,,
most likely market manipulation.... you send coins from your account A to your account B, nothing is happening in reality but coinmarketcap is taking the changes anyway.... same thing but in reverse happened to TenX with the futures... moving from $70 to below a dollar.... all because of early manipulation...

Kind of.... Nimiq is supported only on EtherDelta, on EtherDelta you can create multiple accounts with your name, so basically you can transfer coins from one specific account to another without having to use the general exchange.... Price manipulation is quite simple in this case.... Basically what I think happened is this: One or Two guy decided to increase the price and exchange those guys between them. When that happen Coinmarketcap is not taking the proper value because for example there was only one transaction with that value, but instead it takes the average :)

Not legit, some guy bought 1 coin at 700$ CIVIC on Bittrex is legit.
