4 Cryptocurrencies With Much Faster Block Times Than Bitcoin
One thing a lot of people do not like about bitcoin is how it takes an average of 10 minutes before a transaction receives a network confirmation. Various other cryptocurrencies, also known as altcoins, try to improve this block time by quite a margin. Some projects focusing on faster block times are more successful than others, though.
4. Litecoin - 2.5 minute blocks
Litecoin is often thought of as the silver to bitcoin’s gold. Even though not everyone may see it that way, Litecoin brings some very intriguing developments in the world of cryptocurrency, that much is certain.
3. Monero - 2 minute blocks
With an average block time of just two minutes, Monero has proven to be quite a “quick” altcoin when it comes to generating new blocks on the network.

Many people believe Ethereum is the world’s fastest cryptocurrency in terms of block generation time, but that is not the case It has to be said, Ethereum is somewhat in a league of its, with the average block time sitting at the 14 second mark

When it comes to generating blocks quickly, there is no competition for Ripple right now. Although Ripple is targeting a very different crowd compared to bitcoin, Monero, or the other coins mentioned above, the technology powering this network has proven to be quite solid.

I think you could have done a "650 cryptocurrencies with faster block time than bitcoin." and would have been almost right.
You've omitted bitshare / Steem though, You should really edit your post.
Are you aware that Steem has not only 3sec blocktime... but also no fees (thanks to rate limited free transaction feature)? :)
you are right, there are other cryptocurrencies which have even faster blocktimes we just pointed out the 4 cryptos that are at the top of the market cap list. Steem will be featured in an upcoming article about cryptocurrencies with unique business models.

Another (rather hard) question, do you have an idea, how you are going to distinguish your content posted here, from content posted on your website?
Of course, you can do as you already did... post a part of your article with read-more-link to your article on your website... but the downside of this, will be @cheetah bot, which will constantly remind all users, that this content is also posted on other places.
Just want to let you know, that Steemit community always somehow appreciate more content, which you just cannot find in the other places in the Internet.
BTW. if there would be a tool, which would allow you integrate Steemit with your website (that users could upvote your content on Steem Network directly from you website, and leave a comment on Steem under your post by your website like with disqus... but on Steem (thanks to what they could also be rewarded)), would you use such integration?

Thanks for the feedback and I agree if the community doesn't appreciate excerpts from our article that is already posted on our blog then I could think of something else. I was thinking I could try changing the title / rewriting part of the article to bypass cheetah bot (not sure if that is against the rules). Also, I am very interested in replacing disqus with a steemit comment system I think it would be beneficial to both of us. I could work on integrating steemit if you provide me with some direction.
Some people will appreciate, maybe smaller number , but still.
cheetah is not an official bot. It was build by some member of community, which try to help people whole community by providing more info whether content is original or not (some people sometimes steal other people's works hoping for easy money).
And not.. that would not be against rules ;)
Right now there is no ready solution to integrate Steemit and Wordpress in such way. Actually, the missing part is "SteemConnect" (like Facebook Connect). There are plans to introduce it (take a look on Steemit Roadmap for 2017, but AFAIK in Q3).
On http://steemtools.com/ you can find most steem related tools/app/libraries build by whole community (many very, very useful), but right now there is no ready solution like that. I am thinking about something similar lately, that I asked you that question to check whether there would be a need.
Maybe someone like @jesta would be able to answer this - it's being worked on (something like disqus)
And welcome onboard @themerkle! While there are no official rules and all, everything is being self-regulated by the community, cheetah bot is just a way to counteract spam etc. IMO, crossposts are okay and of course, the community here would appreciate link-backs and mentions on themerkle as well (I'm a frequent reader on your site!). It's just based on contributory / voluntary basis.
I think for publications/websites/etc it's a great way to reward user engagement and post sharing as well :)

BitShares as well. BitShares has been around for a long time and is focused on exchange/transfers.
