Cryptocurrency : Facebook Planning To launch Its Own Cryptocurrency
There are reports that Facebook is building a new Blockchain group, and the social networking giants are preparing to launch their own crypto-technician. According to a website chedor, Facebook is extremely serious in this case. However, some people close to the issue of social networking have said that there is no plan to offer people virtual tokens in the number of Facebook's limited number of people.The report was published on Friday (11th May 2018).
Facebook has 2 billion users worldwide and if it launches its crypto, Launching its own crypto will allow them to make payments using virtual currency like Bitcoin. In one of the posts, David Marcus In charge of Facebook Messenger, has written about blockchain that a small group has been that will look at how to gain maximum out from this.
In a statement issued later in the Facebook said, "Like many other companies, Facebook is also looking for ways to take advantage of the blockchain technology power. Our new small team will search for many different applications. We have nothing else to share. '
Yeah, but, what is there to monetize on facebook? Other than maybe ads and those are tackled by other currencies.
Sure, facebook investing in blockchain is a great thing, but idk how an actual fb currency will do anything? But for now they are just investing, so I guess it's fine.
Well Even I am also not sure but I simply believe that since Facebook has created lot of valuation for itself and its employees and shareholder it will definitely do something for its employees
