BTC Update
The current price of bitcoin is 7009 with 24 trading volumes at at 5.1 billion .
Bitcoin suffered a steep decline today of around 5% which seems to have been caused seemingly by Goldman Sachs shelving their crypto plans amid the entire controvesy surrounding the approval of a Bitcoin ETF. A lot of hope had been riding on the fact that institutional investors would soon be entering the market but the news coming out has put paid to those hopes.
This drop in bitcoin has pulled spooked buyers and altcoins seem to have suffered too with mith most major alts showing double digit losses . The likes of Ethereum have tanked more than 11% to $260 levels.
The overall market cap which looked as if it might breach the 250 billion mark has dropped down to 222 Billion levels.
