$4 Million Donated To Wildlife Charity In A Second Via Ripple (XRP)!
Ashton Kutcher, the famous actor, just donated an amazing amount of more than $4 Million USD to the Ellen Degeneres’ Wildlife Fund by using Ripple (XRP). That all took place live during the Ellen Degeneres Show Thursday, May 25.
It's once more a public demonstration of the power of cryptocurrency in general and most of all it shows people how fast one can transfer big amounts of money these days. It literally just takes seconds compared to the hours or days one has to wait on a bank transfer.
Through the perfectly connected network of Ripple it's further possible for the Charity to just convert the tokens into fiat money through the click of a single button.
“We can actually transfer [the donation] into Rwandan francs right now, right here, and all we have to do is push this button and it’s in your account.”
That's definitely a big step forward and I think we all can be thankful that Ashton took his chance to promote cyrptocurrency in TV that way. Long live Crypto!

I didn't like the shameless promotion. But $4 million to ecological preservation is $4 million to defend the earth from climate change. So I'll choose to focus on that.
Such incidents shows the undaunted power of crypto currencies. No government will be able to ban it.
Uh.... the government could easily crush XRP as it is a centralized system owned by Ripple Labs. But I agree with your point when it comes to truly decentralized cryptoz.
Indeed crptocurrency has revolutionalised the financial world and it systems, it bank bottle necks.
