The last news is that Google, as one of the larger advertising provider, has announced that it will stop the advertising of cryptocurrencies and all related issues (public offers of crypto coins or ICOs, exchanges, trading tips, etc.). In addition to cryptocurrencies, they will also prohibit the advertising of other financial instruments, which are particularly risky, due to their nature.
In other financial areas, they'll require special licenses from advertisers. Changes will come in June this year. This bad news affected the price of cryptocurrencies immediately. In January, advertising of crypto has been banned by Facebook, too.

Another shock to the crypto world came from the US Securities Market Agency (SEC) last week, which issued a very clear warning that many exchanges are unregulated and do not operate in accordance with any rules that would allow for any guarantees. For this reason, the SEC requested that exchanges should be registered with them. After this SEC statement, the bitcoin lost a ten percent of the value immediately.
Cryptocurrency prices fall also after a Binance, one of the largest crypto exchanges was hacked. Although scammers failed to steal large quantities, distrust was aroused by the fact that the attack was being prepared for months.
Bitcoin is currently worth around $8200, the ethereum $600 and the ripple $0.68.
