3 Reasons Why STORJ Coin is 75% UP
STORJ has Good Fundamentals, but its PR is Weak.
They have a working product with 20000 customers! How many projects do you know that can post such a claim. I have seen many inferior coins get hyped to much higher prices and market cap than STORJ. I bought some STORJ coins in [their last ICO which successfully raised $30 Million.] (https://storj.io/tokensale.html). Then, I watched the price fall because of the low publicity. I decided to hold my coins because I knew it was a good one. Today I am enjoying watching its price going 75% UP. But why did that happen?
Three Possible Reasons
I am not sure why did STORJ is soaring. I have checked their website and their social media pages, but I did not find a special event that could cause the surge. However, I can see 3 possible reasons cooperating together:
1- STORJ had a major restructuring lately
They have announced it on their blog. You can read more about it here: Updates to Storj leadership. STORJ has accomplished so many milestones, and a restructure was in order for a major expansion.
2- The STORJ + FileZilla Agreement
This was a very big news for STORJ. Through this integration, STORJ will be exposed to millions of FileZilla users. Moreover, FileZilla will provide a great UI for STORJ
3- The FileCoin ICO
The [FileCoin ICO] is launching today. It is attracting attention to the whole sector of distributed storage. So, maybe some smart investors thought that if Filecoin can rais tens of millions while its service is not running yet, then STORJ deserves a much higher price.
You should be very happy to have purchased it during the ICO ;)

Is it true if you provide storj space, you just get ETH payed out instead of Storj shares? I would prefere to be payed in storj coins.
No, of course not. You get paid by Storj.
Okay I understand. Because they said, I have to submit a ETH- adress. So I insert my ETH adress. Is that incorrect? But even I only earn some little STORJ coints, I am in "the game" perfect. Also one could rent also some very little space. For example you mine and got 120gb ssd in your miner rig, you can set up 100GB for each one without loosing money (if you have enought internet connectivity) and you just collect your STORJ coins. Overtime they also increase their value and you allready have the coins for just setup the space one time.
Did you tried Sia - one has to invest 2.000 SC in front. So I didnt testet it yet.
May download/ upload (without paying 80- 100$ additionally) isnt the fasted, I think my STORJ stuck a little bit. But maybe I can try to connect a test server on a gateway and see, how much it pays after for example 6- 12 month. And if there is a difference to lower internet connectivity.
I did not try renting my HD to storj. I only invest in the coin.
However, I know that storj is an erc20 coin, which means that you store your storj coins in an Ether wallet like MyEtherWallet.
Is there something like a dashboard beside the STORJ programm to see, how much you earned, how much they transfered etc.?
I found https://wallet.counterwallet.io/ as a STORJ wallet. But didnt understand the STORJ wallet system. Where to open it.
