Mobile Virtual Coin Wallet, AR, AI in 2009 Anime Movie
The story is about a super wealthy man with political influence to host a game that 12 of players are selected to fully use 10 billion Japanese Yen to save Japan, that meet unknown expectation of the host. It is also a romantic story because the main character Akira oddly meet Saki, the female character, just like princess meet the price. Akira tried to save Japan by the power of NEET, but then found they betrayed him, so he erases his own memory and meet Saki in front of White House Washington DC.
noblesse oblige Phone
The phone is used for the game. Players submit order to Juiz, and Juiz will use the power of the host to intelligently completes the requests. The requests will be shown on the Phone as a ledger so that other players know what Akira requested. Yes, it is public ledger concept in blockchain. To use connect with Juiz, players must authenticated via the fingerprint sensor on the phone. The phone is also able to install app, like the AR app in Eden system as well as AirShip.
Juiz AI assistant
Juiz is a Siri like assistant that can break down player requests to small tasks, exercise them the extremely wealthy organizer of the game. It can also chat with the players like friend. All the players have their own personalized Juiz.
Augmented Reality and Eden System
AR app linked to Eden System for use as image query system. Users of the app to view the items/person they want to know the info and the system will output info on screen real time. If the system does not have the info, users can take a picture and submit it to the system so that peers can comment on the image. The Eden System is one of the main technology connecting the story.
AirShip - the VoIP messenger with Virtual Coin Wallet
AirShip is developed by one of the Eden club member communicates to bypass government agency monitoring near the end of the story, particularly in the Movie II. In the 2nd half of the Movie II, Akira requests Juiz to force push installation of AirShip to all mobile phones in Japan, broadcast his video speech, and at the end requests Juiz to send every AirShip installation 1 Japanese Yen. The 1 Yen is in a form of virtual currency.
Looking back from the end of 2017, you will see this Anime is very much demonstrating our current use of technology. Although the story did not mention too much on how this 1 Japanese Yen is distributed (blockchain or client-server), the concept is new to non-Sci-Fi story like Eden of the East. The AirShip wallet concept has been adopted as iMessege + coming Apple Pay Cash card, and the China WeChat Pay, but both of them are server based and are not censor resistant. I am looking forward to other decentralized messenger with similar functionality going mainstream.
