Make Big Money With This Arbitrage Hustle

Today I'm going to clue you into a hustle that can potentially make you some pretty good money consistantly and it's an arbitrage hustle involving the difference in prices of cryptocurrencies between various exchanges.

Now I know many of you guys are involved in or at least have some experience in doing dropshipping or retail arbitrage. The overall strategy is basically the same.

Now with retail arbitrage or dropshipping you may try to find a product on Walmart or BedBath and Beyond or Overstock that say for example sells for $50, but which you know can sell on Amazon for $75. You buy it from Walmart for $50, sell it on Amazon for $75 and you pocket that $25 difference. Were doing the exact same thing here but were doing it with cryptocurrencies taking advantage of the difference in prices between the various exchanges.

Earlier today my business partner noticed that on GDAX aka Coinbase you could buy Litecoin for $51 or $52. He also noticed that on Bittrex, Litecoin was going for as high as $64.

So it was a no brainer. We bought Litecoin on GDAX for $52, we immediately sent it over to our Bittrex accounts and sold it for $64 and made a $12 profit per coin for doing nothing but buying and immediately selling.

Now a couple things you should be aware of. Firstly, trading cryptocurrencies can be very volatile, just as easily as you can make money you can lose it just as quickly. A couple other things to be aware of is that there are fees for trading cryptos as well as for sending them between exchanges so make sure to factor that into your movements. Lastly, one other important thing to be aware of is that during times of high volatiliity sometimes transfers can take a long time to go through.

Earlier today my first two moves or trades went smoothly. My last trade however I wound up basically breaking even and here's why. I made my last Litecoin purchase of 20 LItecoins on GDAX and immediately sent over to Bittrex. It took about 11 minutes to get 6 confirmations which is required for Bittrex to move it from "pending" to making it active money I could trade. During the 11 minutes it took for that to happen the price fell from $64 down to $55 so by the time I sold, it basically was almost a break even trade that just covered trading fees and transfer fees.

Anyhow guys, this wasn't intended to be a full how to or tutorial video, I really just wanted to introduce you guys to the concept. Those of you who are already trading cryptocurrencies, this will probably make a lot of sense to you.

Those of you who aren't already active in cryptos may be a little confused but again if you have a background in dropshipping or retail arbitrage the fundamentals are the same, find a difference in pricing between platforms or locations and take advantage of it.

If you guys have questions about this method or even the logistics of how you send cryptos or trade cryptos feel free to drop a comment in the comments section below and myself or someone will chime in and answer.

Thanks for watching 😀🙈🌴🍕

I'm surprised you guys were able to tap into that. Everytime I see a gap it closes fast because of arbitrage bots usually or it is caused because deposits or withdraws are closed on a certain exchange.

Do those trading bots really work? It's funny you mention that I just was reading up on them last night. So I guess from what I could gain from the stuff I was reading bots aren't some magic machine that predicts the future and makes you money, you basically program it's actions based on a trading strategy?

I was reading about some people making good money but they said because they are not flawless the people running them were scared to put big money at stake as in the case of volatility they can make mistakes and lose you money?

Wow that's pretty cool! I wonder what other coins on these two vary that much. Do you open real time trading charts for both side by side and watch the prices ticking up and down?

Yes for most you don't even have to have an account just to watch or check prices. Here's a page on Bittrex that shows current trading for LTC.

You can also view say Coinbases charts here...

And can really jump across all exchanges, poloniex, cracken, etc, etc, etc and see if you can find some opportunities.

I wrote an article that explains the math involved in a simple way to arbitrage across cryptocurrency exchanges. Important to know what you are getting into so that you will not be trading at a loss. https://steemit.com/arbitrage/@kesor/the-math-behind-cross-exchange-arbitrage-trading
