I Just Bought Some Potcoin

And I Don't Smoke Pot

This is not investment advice. I know next to nothing about cryptocurrency.

I've been looking for interesting cheap coins to invest in and read about Potcoin funding Dennis Rodman's trip to North Korea. Doesn't that sound like a "pipe dream?" Took me back to the 1970s hanging out with my pothead friends and me unstoned and wondering why everyone found SNL funny. This time I laughed and bought $50.00 worth of Potcoin. I don't trust the onsite wallet and there isn't an iOS wallet for Potcoin yet, so I'm keeping it on Poloniex until I can order my cold storage wallet.

Why Did I Buy Potcoin?

Because I Can't Believe The News and our governments reality show. Wouldn't this be a big belly laugh if Dennis Rodman and Potcoin disarmed North Korea?

I feel the government has no right telling adults what they can do with their bodies. I also believe the Potmarket is not going away, not just because of people that use the plant for entertainment, the herb also is a healing plant, which really pisses big Pharma off. I like pissing big Pharma off.

I can see cryptocurrency becoming a popular currency to use between business. I mean banks won't deal with the business and marijuana stores are always worried about getting robbed because they keep large amounts of fiat currency onsite. Cryptocurrency would take care of the threats of being robbed.

A string of armed robberies happening nationwide fuels security concerns.

You make a great point, anything could happen and with the looks of ir might just be to the positive in value.
Great post.

Thank you @necio! Who says pipe dreams can't come true? The government ...down with authoritarian institions, corporations, and governments!

Very interesting read, and thanks for posting. Outside of your symbolic protest I have doubts that Potcoin will have very long legs in the crypto currency sphere. Dash is actively being pushed to many in "Big Weed" as the answer to their money woes. And I can say it makes a lot of sense actually especially with all the features Dash has integrated including the ability to remain anonymous.

I've read about Dash and invested a bit, it seems to be doing everything right, it's up there with the best of cryptocurrencies!

I absolutely agree , I just wish I had bought a lot more of it at $4 than I did. Sadly I am playing with a small amount of disposable income as my investment money in crypto. I think Dash, and Monero both have bright futures and both very well may survive the great crypto bubble popping.

I invested with some of my steem profits, I've invested no fiat currency. Monero has that really nice anonymity feature. 🤑

I actually did the same thing with my steem profits dumped them into. Ripple at the time and what a blessing it has been , regardless of where one might stand philosophically concerning Ripple and their XRP token. I have a feeling the currency, and their banking technology has a very bright future , save that they make a very bad decision which I doubt will happen based on all of events that have transpired to this point.

I understand the philosophical issues. That's why I haven't bought into Ripple but if it can help pay the rent and keep food on the tables, I hold no grudges!

Couldn't agree more. Fallowing

I followed you back!

good post! its crazy to see how that affected the price!
thanks @reddust that makes two of us holding

Yes! Great minds think alike. Thank you @cryptoindestment.

I am going to do the same. More states will legalize every year and the banks have mostly removed their services from the industry. Yeah and screw big pharma.

Yeah screw big Pharma and the mafia banking industry💪🏻 Thanks @wakeupsheeps

Word!

Interesting perspective as for the banks removing their services from the "industry" . You are aware the banks are complying with Federal law ? RICO, the various Bank Privacy laws, and FinCen are responsible.

The federal government shouldn't be involved in state business...blah blah blah...prison lobby does not want to lose business.

Its not that I don't agree, I am an original intent sort of guy myself. As far my libertarian leanings , most definitely a minarchist. As I simply do not believe society works with out some form of governance. However any government involvement into our lives and business dealings should be the bare minimum necessary for gears of society to function smoothly. In some ways I feel they made a mistake with the commerce clause simply because of how its been interpreted and used as a justification for the expansion of Federal power.

I agree regarding the expansion of Federal power, Alexander Hamilton is a happy camper and Jefferson is turning in his grave. But I've read many articles regarding for profit prisons and drug laws keeping their stockholders happy.

“Drug war money has become a notable source of funding for law enforcement interests. Huge government grants and asset-seizure windfalls benefit police departments, while the constant supply of prisoners keeps the prison business booming.”

Even small cities in Los Angeles County bring in millions through asset forfeiture laws, which allow prosecutors and law enforcement seize vehicles, property and cash that’s suspected of even cursory links to illegal drug sales. Those windfalls dried up rapidly in Washington after the state legalized marijuana, leading to sharp cuts in police department budgets.

Scientists are only allowed, via special permit, to experiment with one strain of weed, grown at Ole Miss, under government supervision. Failing to take into account what the many strains are capable of. The entire body has endocannabinoid receptors throughout. It's not known why. It's time to expand the pharmacopia of available medicines.

Sounds like big Ag and their monoculture mindset😏

Excellent post dear friend, @ reddust, very good choice, this criptomoneda today has risen 24%, lucky in this investment

Disclaimer: I don't smoke pot either.

Here's to freedom👍🏽 Thank you @sumatranate.

weird, i posted about rodman today and potcoin. i find it truly crazy, like elon musk was right about us maybe living in a vr reality game. surely the US gov is all over the fact that he has such close access. bloody weird to me ;)

Smells like a reality show to me, it's all about keeping the masses confused, bewildered, and entertained. The normalization of chaos... Thank you @teamhumble!

potcoin on the rise... thanks Dennis the menace

Haha, "Dennis The Menance" thank you @tuakanamorgan

I like your reasoning here, and the photos are awesome. I will say however that I did find SNL funny in the late 70s, early 80s. I would sit alone at babysitting jobs laughing myself helpless at Gilda Radner and Steven Martin on SNL...I found it hilarious (without any recreational anything to make it funnier either ;-)

I saw Dennis Rodman in Florida he seems to be smoking something other than pot though. Thanks for the info. #steemon

I'm sure is mind is a little crispy around the edges😏
