Did you ever hear about BITRAD.IO?
Actually, I am not that much into cryptocurrencies. Yes, I understand the technique but there are so many cryptocurrencies that I really don't know what they are all about.
It seems to be set up and run by a German company.

I tested bitrad.io some time ago and what I can confirm is it does what it says and that is: earn BRO while listening to one of the thousands of radio stations
All you need is the wallet on the device with which you want to listen.
This wallet is available for Windows, Mac OS X, Debian 64 and they say soon also for Pi3 Raspbian.
There are also players for iPhone and Ipad available.
After installing the wallet it needs to sync first of course.
In your profile on the site, you can see your status.
While listening you first build up activity points which at a certain level are transferred to your balance. This balance will be transferred to your wallet when it reaches about 0.1 BRO.
They give a warning NOT to use any online wallets
One should only use the downloadable wallet - otherwise, all BRO would be lost.
Actually, I could not find any online wallets for BRO.
I checked BRO on coingecko:

Now my questions for the crypto-experts here are:

I don't care too much about collecting BRO... listening music and news from all over the world for FREE, for me is enough!

this coin is not currently traded on any exchanges from what i can see.
Eventually we will hear more about the development of this project. it looks to be in its infancy still and in need of more users to help it stress test and debug

You have the same idea about BRO as i have.
I'll just keep the wallet and fill it sometimes by listening.
The BRO is only obtained by listening the radio, which makes it impossible to create Ant-miner & others, thus allowing all users (and minors) to be on an equal footing. Useful post for me, as I have started listening radio after years, while my drive. Would like to give a try . Thanks for sharing.

Hello @pundito you are learning something daily. I use samsung mobile which is android and you mentioned that wallet is available for Windows, Mac OS X, Debian 64 and ipad.i dont have laptop so do i have any chance to use it in my mobile?
Well, I think it's open source and if it is possible for iPad and iPhone it should be for Android, too.
Perhaps someone will compile an Android version in the future?

# What is a bounty exactly
A bounty is money sent to a post to be distributed to the users commenting on it. It provides a way to reward users directly and works in addition to the steem/sbd they receive from the blockchain. It works independently of SteemPower.
