Will the price of SBD/STEEM surpass bitcoin price?

Nothing is impossible in the crypto-space but let's take a good look at the facts on net.

Bitcoin has a 7years head start, being the first cryptocurrency in year 2009( Steen only started it journey in the year 2016). With a market capitalization of $120,457,780,130 and a daily transaction volume of $4,484,471,529. Bitcoin is currently trading at $7034.33, at the time of writing this post.

Bitcoin has the advantage of popularity as an average individual will liken any altcoin to bitcoin (even when I tell people about steemit, as above cryptocurrency, their response is mostly "like bitcoin?).

Bitcoin is the central currency in the crypty-space. Most of the time, to acquire any other coin (altcoin) you must first buy bitcoin and then convert to the coin of your choice.

These stated facts will help keep bitcoin in its current position which is miles ahead of altcoin.

SBD is pegged to $1, so we shouldn't expect much form it.

Whereas steemit (Steen) is less then 3years old, it has the advantage of being the first social cryptocurrency, with a market capitalization of $261,382,145 and a daily trading volume of $2,020,472. Steem current market price $0.953635 at the time of this writing.

Comparing both factors stated above, it will take a lot of effort and time for steemit to overtake bitcoin. At the current market condition, Steem will have to reinvent itself for this to be possible.
