Crypto-Currency is Mona Lisa to a Philistine - Here's why crypto will thrive and INCREASE it's value over time.

If and only if, you were alive during 1500s, would you buy a Mona Lisa? If you have a dime or a piece of gold that time would you even appreciate art to buy the Mona Lisa OR are you a Philistine?

a person who is hostile or indifferent to culture and the arts, or who has no understanding of them.

Traveling back to the present time, if you search for the technology behind bitcoin, 90% of the time you would read about Alice and Bob, but who the hell are they? Would you even care (or not care) and still buy bitcoin? They are arbitrary names and so is Mona Lisa or Satoshi Nakamoto, but the genius behind it is what matters most.

Leonardo da Vinci created a masterpiece that is valued now at $1 billion.

Bitcoin on the other not just introduced the blockchain technology but also paved the way for a decentralized everything applications.

Now if you are a philistine ( a smart one ) you would have bought the Mona Lisa anytime of the day... any day of the year because you know there are non-philistines (art lovers) out there that would want to buy it - and even pay for whatever price you set. Whoever created bitcoin knew these dynamics.

Satoshi Nakamoto not only created something of value (the bitcoin) but also created something that is controversially has value.

Unless, the 7.6 billion people of the world agrees to a fixed price..., bitcoin and so are the other crypto-currencies will thrive and increase their value over time. Traders, investors, naysayers, philistines or non-philistines or what-have-you will keep them alive.
