NEON Wallet 0.0.7 released! Finally store your NEO safely on your Ledger Nano S - as well as other improvements 👍

The long awaited moment we've been waiting for is here: NEO is fully supported on the Ledger Nano S! A while ago I reported that the Ledger app for NEO could now be installed, but we had been waiting for the NEON wallet to receive it's update so it could utilize and access the ledger. Today the new NEON wallet with that functionality is officially released to the public!

Other updates to the NEON wallet include support for the Neoscan block explorer, redesigned notifications, as Gas price value added to the dashboard and several other user experience improvements.

Even though the Ledger app for NEO has been released two weeks ago, there was still no way to actually access the Ledger app. With the release of the new NEON wallet, it is the first time that storing and accessing your NEO on your Ledger becomes an actual reality. To be clear: there is no 'official' Ledger wallet app from Ledger Wallets themselves, and this NEON wallet is currently the only way to store NEO on your Ledger wallet. It is possible to claim your GAS using the NEON wallet.

The NEON wallet is created by the open source official NEO communityproject called City of Zion, which has been hard at work at improving the NEO ecosystem at an impressive pace!
