We are not yet safe from a split
By closely following xbt.eu which shows the signaling of the BIP91 (segwit2x), the percentage of blocks were greater than 80% thus validating the activation of segwit2x leaving us a respite of 3 months. But this percentage tends to decrease to reach at present 77% and therefore the risk of a potential split.
