Huobi made history on 21st June 11.00 (UTC+8) by getting its  Huobi 10  index listed on world reputed Bloomberg terminal. This is the first time,  a  Blockchain-related index is getting listed in Bloomberg terminal.  

A Bloomberg terminal is a computer system that allows investors to access the Bloomberg data service, which provides real-time financial data, news feeds, messages and also facilitates the placement of financial transactions.  Bloomberg’s terminal service is used by major banks and investment houses worldwide. Currently only four crypto currency is been  listed in terminal namely Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple and Litecoin.   

Huobi 10 index which is developed by Huobi Group  was launched on 23rd of May 2018.  Launched with a base of 1,000 points ,the index is composed of 10 of the highest volume coins traded against USDT available on Huobi, and  we can say it represents the entire blockchain ecosystem to a greater limit.  

As on date below given are the coins representing Huobi 10 index. 

The % composition keeps on changing as per the volume traded in Huobi.  In essence, Huobi 10 index allows investors to passively track the trend of the entire cryptocurrency ecosystem, without relying on the success of a particular coin there by reducing the risk to a great extend.

As mentioned earlier ,  Huobi 10 index was launched on 23rd May with a base point of 1000. A month later  on 21st June, Huobi 10 index was  pipped at 946 points . ie almost 5.4 % down 

Lets try to see how it performed against major 3 currency. 

On 23rd May Bitcoin was @  7,557. On 21st June it was at 6776. i.e down by 10%

On 23rd May Ether was @  583. On 21st June it was at 536. i.e down by 8%

On 23rd May Ripple was @  0.59. On 21st June it was at 0.53. i.e down by 10%

 This proves that Huobi 10 Index was performing much better than individual coins
