WAVES DEX User Guide - Part VII: How To Verify A WAVES Wallet ID

All transactions on the blockchain are immutable. This means that if you accidentally send any asset to the wrong WAVES ID, it’s gone … forever.

To make sure this never happens to you, we’re going to show you how to verify a WAVES Wallet ID number.

Step 1 -
Go to http://www.wavesgo.com/index.html.

Step 2 -
Enter the wallet number you have in the search box located on the upper right hand corner. If it’s legitimate, you’ll see it’s info come up.

Step 3 -
If not then you’ll get an error message.
