WAVES DEX User Guide - Part II: How to Fund Your Trading Account
In the first part of the WAVES DEX User Guide we discussed how exactly to set up your Waves Wallet
Now you’ll learn how you can trade on the Waves’ DEX with fiat currency; namely EURO.
Here how it goes:
Step 1 -
After you’re logged into your Waves Wallet, click on the Deposit button on EURO.
Step 2 -
You’ll have to identify yourself in order to continue.
Note: Every measure will be taken to ensure a valid and authentic ID is presented to protect your bank account from unauthorized access.
Note: Be sure your country is on the list of eligible countries. You can find the list here. In there, you’ll also find out which official document can be used to confirm your identity. (Your Passport is the only acceptable ID document in some countries.) Once you’re done, click on the link to get verified and prepare your selected ID.
Step 3 -
Enter your personal Information as required. Hit “Continue” when done to proceed to the next step.
Step 4 -
You’ll need to choose how to connect with a live person to confirm your identity.
Tip: Use your smartphone to connect. They’re much better suited for this task than most laptops/desktops.
Step 5 -
Connect with the identity verification representative.
Step 6 -
Get your picture taken. You’ll also be asked to speak your name and to confirm you’re there to verify your identity for coinomat.com, part of the Waves Corporation.
Step 7 -
Show your ID. You’ll be asked to move your ID left to right, rotate it, etc.
Step 8 -
In a couple of days you’ll be authorized to move funds into your DEX account via Bank transfer.
Here is what this confirmation will look like:
With that out of the way, you'll need to get your hands on some WAVES. I'll walk you through that next time.
