Flashcoin: The Paypal Alternative That Crypto Needs!

send crypto with your e-mail address

Like it or not a major barrier to entry for many people into cryptocurrency is the fact that sending it can be confusing. The wallet strings are long and impossible to remember, and there's also no way to recover your wallet if you mess up or misplace your back up! That sort of thing can scare off a lot of would be crypto users. Especially if a lot of money is contained in said wallet. The wild west of cryptocurrency is fun until you lose your fortune due to a technical error. These kinds of things turn everyday people who've been burned by a tiny user error against cryptocurrency forever.

Enter Flash Coin, the user friendly cryptocurrency with lightning fast transaction times and low fees. This little gem can process 25,000 transactions per second. If that doesn't sound that special to you keep in mind that bitcoin is only 7 transactions per second. The long confirmation times of crypto transactions have long kept it from mainstream ecommerce adoption. Flash coin, clocking in at under 5 seconds provides the type of speed that an everyday consumer expects when they are making a purchase from a store or sending money to someone online.

However, what's really great about Flash coin, and the reason I think it will be successful, is the user friendly features reflected in its current offerings and those coming in the future as well. Flash's web wallet allows you to send coins using an e-mail address. While this does not sound very exciting to crypto veterans this is a big deal for people who do not and will never take the time to understand cryptocurrency wallets. Flash is creating something akin to a Paypal alternative for crypto, and I feel the masses will react very positively to this.

In addition to the ease of use of sending your crypto using an e-mail instead of an impossible to memorize wallet string there's also the added security the web wallet offers. Your password can be recovered for you via your e-mail address, you can set security questions, and you can enable 2fa authentication. Sending with an e-mail address also has the added bonus that you can keep people from seeing the total balance in your wallet.

I know many old timers will poo poo at the thought of using a web wallet, but the truth is this is what it will take for crypto to be mainstream. Everyday people just want to feel that their investment is safe and retrievable. They want an easy to use tool for sending and receiving money, and they don't want to worry about losing access to their wallet. Now, they can just use the Flash wallet password recovery option and sleep soundly at night.

In addition to the above features, flash and the web wallet are just plain easy to use. So easy to use in fact that you could set your grandma up to start sending Flashcoin this afternoon! In the dashboard you're able to easily sort all of your transactions to see payments you've either sent or received. You can also sort by date to make it easier to find a particular payment for something you'd like to check up on. There's also a contact section to store addresses for people you might want to pay on the regular such as your room mate for utilities or your car pool buddy for gas contributions. The e-mail send feature also will not allow you to send to an incorrect address if you've made a typo! If the e-mail is not registered then the payment will not go through preventing many sending accidents before they happen.

I've not personally had the misfortune of sending to an incorrect address, but I've read about many people who have, and their coins were gone with no hope of getting them back. The flash web wallet adds a much needed layer of protection against these types of errors that will make new users much more trusting of the whole process.

Soon you'll also be able to utilize even more ease of use features like the ability to swap between other popular cryptocurrencies right in the wallet. You will also be able to buy Flashcoin using your credit card with no exchanges required. Flash has built and continues to develop a beautiful crypto experience that will make new users (especially those who struggle with new technology) breathe a sigh of relief. Apple was not the first company to create the MP3 player. They were just the first one to make it easy enough to understand that everyone could buy one. Likewise, I think Flash will make cryptocurrency easy enough to understand that everyone can use it for everyday purchases.

This really looks nice. I'm also exited about LiteCoin Pay.

Thanks for the info!

Flash is already on coin payments so merchants can integrate it into their stores and start accepting flash right away. They can also accommodate POS, custom API, donations, ICO website payments, and invoices. :-)

Yeah it really looks ready to start. Next step merchants need to jump on the train and we are ready to go!

Yeah, I'm hoping that will happen soon. Easy to use plugins are the first step though. I try to make sure to buy stuff with crypto directly if I can to support merchants who accept crypto already. :-)

Definitely check it out more, good post.
