I know I already praised Stellar Lumens in a previous article, but here are 3 more very good reasons why 2018 could be a great year for this cryptocurrency!

Cryptocurrency Stellar Lumens has had a great 2017. The cryptocurrency started the year at $ 0.002 and ended 2017 at $ 0.40. So the price increased by 200 times last year. After Stellar peaked around $ 0.85 in early January, the crypto coin made a correction, but this does not necessarily mean the end of the journey. In 2018 some great moments for Stellar Lumens are coming up!

Reasons
1. IBM and Stellar Lumens cooperation
In October, the American technology giant IBM announced that it will cooperate with Stellar Lumens for cross-border banking operations. Payments across national borders are slow and expensive within the current banking system. With Stellar, such transactions would only take 5 seconds and cost a few cents.
Since the collaboration with IBM this system is used in Australia, New Zealand and Great Britain. According to founder Jed McCaleb, there are already 30 banks connected. IBM already said that it wants to expand this system in the future.
2. Stellar ATMs
There are already vending machines (ATMs) for Bitcoin and Litecoin. Stellar Lumens ATMs are now also being added. At the Singapore FinTech festival in November, the first Stellar Lumens ATM was exhibited. You put Singapore Dollars in the ATM and the vending machine buys Lumens that are sent to your wallet and vice versa.
3. FairX is going to use the Stellar network
FairX must become a competitor for Coinbase. It will offer trade between fiat money and crypto coins. But unlike Coinbase, it will offer a much wider range of crypto coins.
FairX is going to use the platform of Stellar Lumens because it is fast and simple. This should provide FairX with an advantage over Coinbase. The launch of FairX will significantly increase the demand and liquidity of Stellar Lumens!
My advice
Buy Stellar Lumens (XLM) now that it is still affordable and relatively cheap.

Ugh, I have some pain associated to it. Had friends recommending to buy it last year for really good price and I ass like "nhe, I am good"..... well, it grew and quite substantiually. Now whenever I see it I feel pain of missed opportunitty.
But. next month I will get into it. Probably not too late...

I have also missed a lot of opportunities and made a few mistakes that could have really improved my portfolio and cryptocurrency-revenue. We are all human and as I always say; we can't jump on every flying cryptocurrency plane. It is important though that we learn from our mistakes and find other future profit.
Personally I have seen Ripple explode from 25cents to 3 dollars and this happened right after I sold mine. It hurts to see this kind of things happen but we should also realise that there will be more opportunities like this.

Yeah, a similar thing happened with ripple to me. But I got into it at 0.7$.
