I didn't appreciate the importance and brilliance of the 1 year token period at first. I found it frustrating actually, but that was just my impatience...now I fully understand it and not only does it spread the distribution out...but its been brilliant marketing. The coin inflation everyone was worried about appears to be a non-issue.
