Thank you for always stepping back from the details every once and a while to review the big picture.

The live stream presentation of pre-recorded content was nifty... while I do sometimes find value in the interactive streams where the audience can chat with the streamer live while the news is going on - you do it, @crypt0 does it, @cryptobobby does it, etc, I find it takes way too long to get the news more often than not. It's great for those who are "all in" on crypto and have made their livelihoods in crypto, and who have the time, but in today's fast-paced world, I do want both, and I suspect you've found a format that satisfies both -- people who just want the content can have it. People who want to interact with you can do that. People who want both can interact now, and then watch again later to catch up.

Re: Trezor coin swapping with ShapeShift/Changelly news -- I know a lot of crypto enthusiasts bemoan the government "gettin' all up in our grill" with KYC and Voorhees capitulating, but the bottom line is, there are millions of people out there who just want status quo. They want something that does have records of transactions like they've always had and does report correctly.

This integration of a hardware wallet (read: security) with a service that can exchange coins (read: liquidity and bank services) in a way that is recorded (read: legal) is going to HELP adoption in big ways.

That was an interesting mix today. I did not really get, what the benefit of a Lightning node is. What is the expected roi and how long to expect break even? - Thanks for your summarizing.

I don't think the LN node is an investment. It's more a device to make it easy for you to use the LN.

Thanks. Somehow that was what I was getting. You need to be a high frequent user to profit from that then, a shop accepting Bitcoin fe. might be interested.

Another great show. Really like the Trezor integration, it's getting closer to the Utopia in terms of getting rid of traditional exchanges and allowing us to keep hold of our assets until the exchange!! Will have to upgrade to the Model T :-( Ravencoin does look the business but will have to wait until it cools down before getting in. Too many bloody projects to try and track .......argh!!

I been learning more on what BAKKT plans to do in the future with hodlers funds of bitcoin lending it out just like what a Typical bank does when you deposit money to them does not help the crypto ecosystem because there are always greedy people miss-managing other peoples funds. They can possibly crash the BTC market if they get a hold of a lot of BTC. With BAKKT, all we are doing is giving more power to whales or maybe players that are against crypto

That's a lot of content in one video. I might look at building my own lightning network node. I'm not that technical but I think it would be worth giving it go, as the learning process is good.

I tried mining Ravencoin a while ago and wasn't impressed. I only have my PC with the one GPU, so I don't have much hash power but it took me a long time to get a fraction of 1 coin, and that's never going to be worth much with such a huge supply. With the price of electricity in the UK, it just isn't worth it. Wish I had bought some before the pump but I would expect a lot of profit taking now, so maybe I'll buy when there's a nice dip.

The continued availability of swapping asseta directly from hardware wallets is a great feature and is thebtype of user interface capabilities needed to increase adoption. I feel much more comfortable doing that then needed to go through exchanges. Last thing needed is more stablecoins to be available on the hardware wallets but given the regulatory requirements for some like Gemini, I think it will be less likely.

I'm pretty sure that any wallet that stores Ethereum can store GUSD (Gemini's stablecoin).

I had thought about the viability of setting up a lightning channel to a local vending machine company but I still don't have the technical ability to do that. So, how easy will the "play" part of this lightning node be?

I remember long ago, there was a company on Ali express that had a bitcoin node for ~$200 that was just a raspberry PI with a 1T HDD and nice case. I guess its been long enough that people think this will work again. my point being that anyone who knows and wants a lightning network node will also be educated enough with computers to know how to setup a lighting node on a PI. but Its best to let the free market do its thing.

Pretty cool from Trezor!

I also see that there's new competition for change.ly and Shapeshift in onepagex which could be an option for wallets in the future. I'm pretty sure eventually we're going to see large crypto partnerships, takeovers and mergers as companies look to build a superior product and reduce competition.

All the products in the market today are simply stepping stones to what we will have where people won't even know what blockchain they using or all that technical theory. Just plug and play exchange of value they way they see forex but instant and easier. Thats how i see it
