If you want to stabilize the market and return some sense on legitimacy, get rid of the margin trading in crypto. Those large dumps on Bitfinex are nothing more than margin traders/whales being forced to liquidated their positions.
The reality is that prices were ahead of themselves late 2017 and early 2018. We are experiencing a reversion to mean which is normal in asset pricing cycles, particularly when it is new, disruptive technology. Amazon and Apple did not stop innovating when the dotcom bubble popped and blasted their valuations. Today they are the most valuable companies in the world. Netflix, Facebook and Google were all born AFTER the bubble given the continued innovation in the internet technology after the devaluations. We are still early in the cycle for blockchain which will revolutionize industries all over the world in the coming years. Patience is an important trait for committed investors in any innovative industry.

The challenge I have is that when I explain the benefits of EOS, I am accused of being a fanboy and pushed aside. The general population still do not fully understand the potential of what the crypto industry will deliver. 9 out of 10 people I speak to still see crypto as a 'virtual' currency and do not understand the different verticals in play.
I am still very positive about crypto because of EOS and the community as it truly promises to deliver a new way to interact with the blockchain in my opinion. I have been in crypto for some time and these peaks and valleys are par for the course.
Once EOS launches and the dApps deliver (Chintai, HireVibes), I feel the sentiment will turn around.

bitcoin and steem are down this time,but we all know in the future it will bounce back really high!

We need a U turn in the crypto market.
I think some of these prices went to far ahead last year that the effect this period.
Nevertheless it's definitely going to increase again. No doubt.
