ICO Analysis: Scavenger Hunt Token

As I've previously mentioned, I'm starting to look at ICOs before they even open up for sale. If a coin takes off, it's better to have gotten in sooner rather than later. Recently, I heard about Scavenger Hunt Token. The abbreviation SHT turns me off, so I hope they change the name, but besides that the system is pretty interesting. You earn this cryptocurrency by walking around. According to Scavenger Hunt's website, "We have a location based (GPS) token that allows the tracking and tracing of real-time objects on the blockchain."

Think of it like Pokemon GO. You're rewarded for walking around and sometimes for stopping at certain locations. Except instead of getting coins you can only spend on Pokemon GO objects, you're getting Scavenger Hunt Tokens that are completely ERC20 compliant. This means you can buy/sell, trade, or transfer them with other Ethereum users. Being an ETH fan, I'm drawn to coins that run on the Ethereum blockchain. They aren't trying to come up with something completely different. Instead, they are focusing on ways to use technologies that have been proven to work. This month, the creators are focusing on developing the app for smartphones (both IOS and Android) and are ending the first phase of their token sale (there are three phases). The apps are set to launch this August. I'll keep this coin on my radar and update you as to what I find out.
