[Guide] Masternodes the Passive Income

in cryptocurrency •  26 days ago

Currently we have a dump on BTC and all coins which means there are good entrances to many.

Masternodes is an easy way to make passive income just from holding coins which are locked. You can kill MN any time and use them if you wish.

Almost all coins work same way:

  • send needed amount in 1 transaction (keep ey on fees)
  • go to console and do masternode genkey
  • masternode outputs in console
  • edit conf file
  • run the wallet and start mnode

Of course you can also add server to his, pretty much guide for one MN fits all of them.

The most known masternode coin is DASH. But its hella expensive to run one right now.

Yep.. 283k USD. ROI of 6%.

PIVX which is a known fork costs 35k USD and has just 5% ROI.

Here are MNs that i run/suggest you to check:

  • EXCL, cost 3,5k, ROI - 42%
  • SMART 837USD coist, 67% ROI
  • XZC 28k, ROI 25%

Do not fall for coins that have 100%+ ROI usualy they are small volume scams with no good exchanges.

Look for MN Coins on Verified Exchanges

  • Bittrex - STEEM and loads of MN coins
  • Binance - the obvious top vol exchange, has STEEM
  • KuCoin - i would call it younger brother of Binance with many NEO and ETH pairs
  • BiBox - amazing China exchange, similar to other two above with different coins
  • CoinExchange - many ETH tokens and anon coins like ZEC XZC EXCL
  • COSS - many deals on ETH tokens for arbitrages
  • Cryptopia - some decent coins that others dont have and nice volumes
  • OpenLedger - decentralized exchange build on BTS, the older brother of STEEM

I feel like I miss a lot when it comes to crypto, I would to have a masternode

i have 2x EXCL masternodes already!

Good stuff you shared right there.
I think the hardest part
Get a vps and get your pc working.
I will search about vps vs vpn?!?!?
Thanks for sharing

Yes this is passive income

There is also a Masternode Share program for dash (starting from 20 DASH)

http://dashmasternode.org/splawiks-supershares-hosting-service/

Most master nodes these days are scam.. Developers announce a coin, presell and then go away. Community will take over and will see invest wiped out by 90%. Invest with caution

Working on Ignition, Smartcash and Payfair right now. Currently only staking Ignition, but planning to set up some nodes soon. :-)

how much does their MN costs? and whats the return?

Very interesting post. I didn't know much about Masternodes, thanks for the education! I currently stake one of my coins, and make a decent return. I love it, it is like Christmas, every time I get a new stake. and it is gut wrenching when I wind up with an orphaned stake. haha

Thanks for giving me some insight about what a masternode is. I thought it's just a terminology in blockchain world.

man...just imagine getting 3 dash masternodes 2 years ago...holy hell - all the people you know who bust their ass while you are making like $10 an hour 24/7 lol which was like $40-$50 an hour 24/7 not too long ago * mind blown...Im sure Jerry thinks of his masternode regardless of what he says

Fallow My channel :)

Thanks for the info. I'm new to this, so this is all very educational and useful.

An honor can read your post @kingscrown

As the saying goes many paths to roma or other words, many ways for us to be successful.

Increasing coin competition that makes us have to work hard to be able to provide convenience and how to produce something meaningful, I see with this masternodes show the most positive thing for all for an easy entry to consolidate income.
global market competition provides a signal for us to master it

Should we buy master nodes at this stage

I heard about MNs a few months ago, and still think it's an interesting idea, but there's a learning curve for sure. At least for newbies like me.

I agree masternodes are an interesting source of income and worth looking into.

Good post you.

Thank you for sharing this great information.
PERFECT TIME TO BUY MORE SMART-NODES from SmartCash. They are the most profitable at the moment 😎

they don't have out there coins with a regular POS that give the same 6-8% return? why bother with a MN when you can stack any amount of say NEO or ARK and not a server on 24/7?
(i am really asking i'm sure i don't understand something haha)

Dear @kingscrown, passive income is one of the most important facotors of my education and I highly value what I'm reading here about MN. However I don't understand this one section

EXCL, cost 3,5k, ROI - 42%
SMART 837USD coist, 67% ROI
XZC 28k, ROI 25%

Is there a way could elaborate on these 3 as they seem pretty accessible for me, unlike DASH and PIVX. Even if you drop a Dtube clip or forward a YouTube clip that makes reference to the 3 you mentioned?

SMART has good potential. Do your research. Much info out there.

Ok I understand @cryptonfused!!

Interesting article, thanks for sharing. I've smashed the upvote button for you!

Also, if you are looking to get some tokens without investing or mining check out Crowdholding (https://www.crowdholding.com). They are a co-creation platform were you get rewarded for giving feedback to crypto startups on the platform. You can earn Crowdholding's token as well as DeepOnion, ITT, Smartcash and many other ERC-20 tokens.

Very nice. I am a big advocate of shared masternodes. Maybe have a read of my post that I did today on a great service:
https://steemit.com/stakinglab/@gholsa/stakinglab-shared-masternodes

To me the good masternodes are gone. Too many scam the community with the promise of a masternode. If I invest I will only invest on something that is well established. I am too risk averse to do anything else.

How do you handle your SmartNode? Do you take reward out regularly or do you let them sit and compound? The combination of SmartRewards and SmartNode payments are really interesting and make me not want to touch my wallets for now. But I wonder what could be a good way to take some profits without interrupting the SmartRewards payouts too much.

What do you think about SmartCash's future?

I do have few masternodes and its great way to making some extra money :-) What coins do you have?

Very good my friend

Posting good

I like

I was thinking about picking up a couple more SMART masternodes during these dips.

Masternodes are very powerful, but you need to discover a cryptocurrency not only when it's super cheap, but before the crypto launches masternodes, because usually when dev teams announce that they are providing them, the price will spike

I really want to get enough money so I can start a masternode.

well done! NICE post and blog!
