During Apple's Worldwide developers conference (WWDC18) last june 4, 2018, the company was released a new app store guidelines that ban all cryptocurrency mining on both iOS devices and MAc.

AppleInsider was first spotted the changes to the policy on June 11, 2018 (monday).

This is the very first time that apple has offered a clear stance on its policy about cryptocurrency apps. It comes from amid explosive interest in cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and other altcoins, which are "mined" when people use multiple devices to solve a complex mathematical problems that lock and unlock the information in the blockchain. They are rewarded as each transaction in secured.

Apps, Including any 3rd party advertisements displayed within them, may not run unrelated background processes, such as crypto mining", the apple said under the hardware compatibility section of its app store policy.
