Welcome to the new world of transportation with DAV Network.

What we have recently seen in the movie, begins to be embodied in reality. Unmanned vehicles, boats and planes will soon be completely common for us. Drones are already delivering pizza and small loads from Amazon. Unmanned trucks, buses, cars and boats are being tested. It remains to wait not very long, and the system of passenger and freight traffic will change dramatically.

If all unmanned vehicles are connected to a common network, we will get Decentralized Autonomous Vehicles (DAV). Decentralization means that they aren't managed from a single server or from a single command post. These are independent devices that can interact with people, technical centers and other equipment to perform certain tasks.

How DAV developers See the Technology.

What is used for payment

On the platform, the internal utilitarian token DAV will be used as the main unit of payment. The token can be earned or received as a reward from the ecosystem and the Decentralised Autonomous Vehicles Foundation.

How the service is ordered

If there are transportations, then there is a customer who wants to deliver the goods to the recipient. To implement the planned, he registers in the DAV Network and sends a request to the network, where the customer specifies the parameters of the cargo and the coordinates of delivery, as well as delivery time, the need for cargo insurance.

Select an artist

Suppose that several different drones responded to the project and offered their services. All of these devices in the network blockchain stores the history of completed tasks, which any client can read. Each of the drones exposes a preliminary price and other conditions.
The customer chooses a specific Autonomous Vehicle from the vehicles that responded to his request. From this moment, the price and other conditions for the conclusion of the correct smart contract begin to be agreed.

Negotiations

It's clear that the drone is not able to think, it just offers the conditions programmed in it. In complex cases, the owner or operator of the drone can enter into negotiations. The drone at the same time lead two kinds of negotiations. The first - with the customer. The second - with other devices that may be necessary for him to successfully complete the task.
The drone may need to be recharged during the flight, and it begins to search for it along the way. In order not to make empty movements, he tries to find a passing cargo in the return route. In these situations, the drone acts as a customer and sends its wishes to the network. After responses from devices and centers, it begins to negotiate prices, time, and other parameters.

Contract conclusion

Upon finding everything necessary for the job, the drone communicates with the customer and tells him the final price. The sender may disagree and find another artist. Or agree and start making a smart contract.
After signing the smart contract, the tokens are transferred from the customer's address to the address of the smart contract, where they are stored until its execution. If all went well and received confirmation from the recipient of the delivery of the goods and no comments, the tokens are transferred to the address of the drone. If any complaints or delivery fails, an independent arbitrator, who is also a member of the ecosystem, may be involved in the resolution of the conflict.

Development Prospects.

This is a project for the future, because of all Autonomous Vehicles, only the operation of drones has been worked out. But they are enough to create and debug protocols:

  • interactions within the network;
  • P2P-communication between vehicles and the necessary operational services.
The project is very interesting and carefully designed. Behind it is an impressive team and a large team of employees involved.

"Debug protocols" is the part that makes me want to wait to ride in that unmanned vehicle...

Hello, @portsidemkt ! I think in 10-15 years it will be a common thing.

A great technology you're sharing with us @jinny1985. Actually I think P2P communication will rock in the future.

thanks @nassifelias ! i try do my best ;-)

id make my vechiel drive itself right fucking now if i had a electric car grow some fucking balls u pussues fucks sake!

@krustal-paws ! I love when my articles cause such emotions! thank you for reading!
