The question arises is our mind what is OVERWINTER ??? Can anyone tell the meaning of overwinter?

WHAT IS OVERWINTER ??

Overwinter is the very first hardfork for the Zcash. It will be carrried out on 26th june the first hardfork after the launching of any cryptocurrency is called as overwinter. It will be activated at block number of 347500 and been having a 150 second/block rate.

CAN PRICE OF ZCASH INCREASE AFTER THE HARDFORK ??

My answer is it will not affect the price that much because the whole crypto market is really in dip to buy any coin you can get 50% discount price so there are less chances of the crypto market to come in bullish behaviour so if bitcoin moment starts growing then we can expect Zcash to spike atleast 20-50$ and we can get some benefit in this bear market.

WHAT CHANGES WILL COME AFTER THE HARDFORK OF ZCASH?

The hardfork will introduce the replay protection for the system upgrade and also the versoning and they will also include the performance improvement of the transparent trancation. There will be one more upgrade of the system and it will be held later after the improvement of the first hardfork and it might be held on the Q3 months. According to the zcash official announcement the concept of overwrite will support many major exchnages like bitfinex, poloniex, binance etc.

According to official announcement you have to verify your wallet or any hardware or exchanges you are using to store your coin verify that they are supporting this hardfork or not it not then you have 1 day you can transfer coin to safe place so that you will be risk free.
