I was having a beer with some buddies when the subject of investments came up.

One friend was touting some NASDAQ chip company. Another gave me his well-worn "Buy only dividend-bearing Blue Chips" spiel.

When they asked me what I was into lately, I said,"Same stuff. You know, cryptos, MEMS, wireless electricity, augmented reality, disruptive tech, etc. But I did find a super-fast and no fee exchange that I tried out last week."

Well, they had their doubts about my claims, so I pulled my robinhood.com account up on my phone.

That's when I saw "it" - the status of my Bitcoin buy from 7 days ago.

And when my friends saw it, one of them said, "Dude! What fuckin' planet are you from?! I'd be happy with a 9% gain in one quarter or even six months! WTF!?"

I shrugged and said, "Just dumb luck, man."

But then another buddy said, "Don't believe him. I've seen this happen to him way too many times for it to be 'luck'. Damnit JaiChai, you either got some pretty good 'research' or you're some kind of time-traveling Alien!"
