Is ZCoin the best privacy coin?
I heard about a privacy coin the other day called "ZCoin" (XZC) on a Wealth Reseach Group https://www.wealthresearchgroup.com/ video and I checked it out.
What is ZCoin?
ZCoin touts the tagline "Private financial transactions, enabled by the Zerocoin Protocol"
These days with the cease and desist orders coming out of the United States, it is obvious that the political and legal system is starting to take notice regarding cryptocurrency. Considering that, privacy sounds good to me!
What is Zero Coin Protocol?
Zero Coin Protocol attempts to provide anonymity by erasing the history of the coins before each spend. It seems to work that you receive coins, then when you wish to spend them you "mint". This way the connections between transactions are broken. When you mint a coin, the coins you receive are "burned" and a new coin is created.

I was able to download the wallet and get started pretty easily.
