Cryptocurrency Market : 2017 was an Explosive Year for Cryptocurrencies. What about 2018?
We have seen incredible growth of cryptocurrency market in 2017. Bitcoin alone has 17.5x tell now from the $1000 price on new year. Ethereum opened the market with $7.98 price on 1st January. We have seen nearly 100x growth.
Litecoin was just $4.33 and is $311 at the time of writing. Ripple's $0.76 price tag may look innocent but it was just $0.006386 on 1 January; meaning 119x astronomical growth.
There was a flood of ICOs as well and many new coins were launched. Some of those coins have taken the cryptocurrency market by storm and are sittining in top 10-30 coins in the market cap. EOS is a big example. Cardano (ADA) is even bigger. OmiseGo (OMG) is a popular one too. WTC, PAY and ETHOS have made some huge gains.
There have been scams, comtroversaries and frauds too. And of course this and that fork of Bitcoin network. Chinese and banks have spread a lot of noise but we can see the cryptocurrency market is breaking all barriers and fast approaching the first trillion $ mark.
I think 2018 will be another great year for crytpocurrency. It will, I hope and think, separate good coins from bad one and only the good ones will thrive next year. What do you think?
Incridble post and amazing growth of cryptomarket. I have seen it since June 2017 and I am bamboozled by it. Although I personally lost some $400 in crypto (due to my bad decisions), I love how it is rising and how it is changing wealth distrubution.
I had Bitcoin. I had Eth. I had Ripple. I had Ethos. I had PAY. All gone. Lessons learnt.
I have Steem. I had SP. I have SBD. I love Steemit!

Hahahaha.... Really yar I also had Bitcoin, I also had Ethr, I also had Ripple coins..SO all are sold but that was not a good time to sell them. I'm also worried that I have nothing to sell now.

Great post. I am seriously thinking about buying some ripple. I've heard that it has the fastest transaction speed among all cryptocurrencies. Hopefully, its price would go down a bit so that I can buy some :-D!
In the days of my life, I have 548 Ripple coins. I just wish I had kept them. Or kept the BTC I purchased and sold them for.
When the value of a cryptocurrency begins to surge at a rapid rate, everyone else in the market rushes to invest in it. Now like BTC and ripple both are touching to sky so if you had kept them you would definitely avail from them. So let us wait for furute

Regulation can’t stop cryptocurrencies , but it can stop liquidity entering Bitcoin. If large scale institutional money is spent on other cryptocurrencies then ripple will eventually crash for some time and users will buy more and more till it will go up.
my opinion, next year will give rise to many crypto-currencies. interest in them is growing every day, more people are beginning to invest their money in the developing market of crypto currency, thereby raising their value and getting a good profit. I'm sure the next year will bring us many surprises, but it will be interesting. so we buy popcorn, enjoy and of course participate)
In the coming year, the motto of financial-tech developers is going to be “cryptocoins for everything!”
Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs), which introduce new cryptocurrencies to the world, have raised $4 billion so far, mostly in the last year—and that has turned them into a craze of their own. so of course we are going to have interesting surprises in the coming year.

Talking about BIT coin i think prices will go down. I am not the numbers guy but its now going down and it will. Its now just too expensive so none is buying any of them. THUMBS UP
When there is too much Bitcoin demand, while Bitcoin supply is limited, the price of Bitcoin will ultimately rise. but there is hard fork coming in future when Bitcoin price will go down that would be good time to buy more and more BTCs @whiteexpert

to be honest i think that this is a serious phenomena for the world to rethink about crypto currencies
Can we give up the idea that cryptocurrencies are a new species of traditional cash? And can developers end the plague of technical problems surrounding Bitcoin and every other cryptocoin? The continued rise of cryptocurrencies in 2018 will depend on how much progress the crypto world can make on these questions.
so see the coming year about cryptocurrencies but don't take its ups and down so serious.
