A sea of red across the board today, apparently due to Wall Street trying to keep prices down before they get their bonuses tomorrow and buy up cryptos. Lots of coins down by double figures except NEO, ETH and VEN which was particularly lucky for me and kept me afloat. My luck is never that good – I’m never the one who has the green amongst the blood!

Given I posted earlier with the questions I wasn’t going to post again, but tonight BitDegree (BDG) and Telcoin (TEL) launched on EtherDelta unexpectedly. I knew TEL was coming because I got the tokens into my wallet, and I had gone big on this – an £11k investment. Looking back I shouldn’t have put that much in, but for now it’s working out – it’s nearly three times up, making me about £30k. I was more sensible with BDG, only investing £1k, but that’s already up over five times.

The point of this is not to boast, but to underline the earning potential with a quality ICO (note ‘quality’). I plan to ride both of these until they hit a bigger exchange, sell a large percentage on the resulting pump and keep a large moonbag. This is what I did with DRGN and it opened up so many opportunities. I have about five other ICOs coming up, and this means I can invest more in those, so it’s kind of like compound interest.

Today’s lesson: A good ICO can look after you short term and long term.

Thanks for another post @glen-hodl. I would love to learn more about investing in ICOs as I feel this is something that I have not researched enough. What sources do you use to keep yourself up to date with the newest ICOs? How can you be certain coins you choose will be hitting major exchanges?

With a lot of larger caps losing momentum it feels like ICOs is the way forward for thrill seekers at this point in time.

Hey. I have a band of trusty people I follow on YouTube and Twitter, plus I'm a member of a private Telegram group of crypto geniuses, so when they all comment on an ICO or a coin I take note and do some digging for myself. If I like what I see then I'll invest appropriately. So you really don't need to do much up front to get them on your radar, then it's up to you. Of course if you want to get in at pre-sale then you need to keep your ear to the ground much earlier on and get in before it gets picked up by the Twitterati.

Hope that helps!
