Initial Coin Offering in a nutshell
Initial Coin Offering (ICO) become a hot topic this few months after it was ban in china due too some local regulation. But let assume that we are all new to the Crypto world and have no for what this thing is.
ICO in short term act as a start up company to sell pre token or coin for the up coming new crypto currencies to investors. Later on investors can redeem bought tokens or coins to access full feature those coins or tokens have to offers. They can open their own project or join the other on the existing blockchain.
ICO successfully attract millions of dollar from investors since the creation of Ethereum. Up until now we can see hundred of ICO from new crypto company offering pre sale to both consumers and investors.

Keep in mind that not all ICO are legit with their offering. lots of ICO offering a crap coin with flashy name plus a colorful website but turn out as a scammer. This kind of thing happen quit frequently now so make sure that you need to watch out each coin potential and their technology behind it before investing.
