As you might know Crypto.com is finally going on the expansion phase across all Asia, and soon Europe, US and possibly more news by the end of 2019.

This means cards are going to start shipping soon across many new countries. In Australia, they are already arriving, and New Zealand should be very soon (I am guessing). Meanwhile and since the app is now listed on the New Zealand AppStore, I decided that it would be a great time to stake now, and start the 6 months clock.

On a separate post, I asked kindly for everyone to help me choose the card. Many thanks for everyone's input.

I have chosen my 💳Card!

From the amount of MCO tokens I was planning to stake, I had two card options. And I have chosen the 🥝Kiwi one!

All cards except the FREE (of stake) one (made of plastic) are made of metal! 😲 I never had a metal made card... so I am really looking for this one. Plus, the fact that it still NFC enabled, really tells they put some effort on the technical design.

How does it look like the 🗃️process?

I am not going through the very beginning, but basically, after you get verified you need either to get MCO tokens ready to be transferred to an address or send them straight away to the Crypto.com App Wallet (like I did) to later be able to stake them.

Then head to the card tab and click "Continue"...

The next page will inform you about the amount of MCO tokens you need to stake and the holding period that your tokens will be frozen. The tokens are still under your control, but you will only be able to transact them after 6 months. A days countdown will show up later telling you how many days are left.

After you clicking "Purchase & Hold MCO for 6 Months" it will ask you for either to send MCO from an external wallet/address, or if you already hold MCO tokens in your App Wallet, to choose those instead.

It will then ask you for confirmation...

And all done! Lock complete...

Because the Crypto.com cards are not yet available in New Zealand (soon this will change), it shows the locking complete, but that I am still applying... This will change soon, and if I can remember to take any PrintScreens, I will make another post.
