TODAY: GOLEM NETWORK TOKEN (GNT)

1- OVERVIEW

Golem is an open source, decentralized super computer! It adds up the combined power of the users hardware, from personal laptops to entire datacenters.

2- PROBLEMS TO SOLVE

Reducing the time of computational-intensive tasks.

Provides security for the developers in distributing and monetizing their software.

Lowering the price of computations, complex applications such as CGI rendering and
scientific calculation.

3- HOW IT WORKS

Golem provides a peer-to-peer network, letting application owners and "requestors" rent resources in an open market.

They propose two types of nodes: requestor nodes that announce computing tasks and compute nodes that perform computations.

4- WHERE CAN BE USED

Computer Graphics: CGI rendering is the first case of usage of the network, doing in minutes what could take entire days.
Business: market predictions or big data analysis, just to name a few.
Cryptography: it could run the world largest mining pool.
Science: DNA TESTING for example.

And infinite more Micro tasks.

5 - THE TOKEN

There is a total amount of 1 000 000 000 GNT distributed this way:
820 000 000 to the crowd funders
60 000 000 Golem team
120 000 000 Golem Factory GmbH

No token creation, minting of mining after the end of the crowdsale.

Exchanges supporting: Poloniex, Bittrex, Liqui, Yunbi

The Golem Network Token have s variety of functions inside the network as:

Payments from requestors to providers for resource usage, and remuneration for
software developers is going to be exclusively conducted in GNT.
Once the Application Registry and Transaction Framework are implemented, GNT will
be necessary for other interactions with Golem, such as submitting deposits by
providers and software developers or participation in the process of software
validation and certification (as described in the Application Registry section).
The general conditions for using GNT will be set in the Transaction Framework, but
specific parameters of these interactions will be possible to define within each
software integration.
